Tokenizing the Internet (Pitch)

What platform shift happened that spawned a new problem?

Pump dot Fun designed a platform that allows unlimited tokens to be created for very cheap and that can’t be rugged until they hit a certain popularity. Pump, sports betting, and Polymarket have demonstrated that people are interested in speculating on the internet in novel ways.

What are people doing right now? what is the specific problem?

Right now all pump tokens have the same metadata: an image, a symbol, and a description. While this standard is perfect for tokenizing memes (an image with contextual description), there is a vast sea of content that doesn’t fit this standard. Tweets, YT Videos, etc.

The other problem Pump faces is rampant token creation, making discovery and quality control impossible. Many tokens can be created with identical metadata, making it impossible to determine the “one true memecoin”

Is the solution we build actually 10x better than current solutions?

We create a standard that binds some online data to a token. For example, every tweet has an unruggable token assigned to it. This solves both problems: 1. Any hypothetical piece of online data can be tokenized 2. Since each piece of content is tied to a token, you don’t get the imposter problem that pump has.
